Water marbled blues :D

ok after so long of saying i will marble my nails seeing as I’ve not done so since last year -flop-
I finally did it!

Using a matte white by barry M as a base to make the colours pop and give it a better contrast.

Barry M bright blue and pastel green
Topshop gold.

using a small bowl no deeper then 2”, i used an old Gu pudding pot they are perfect! Fill it up with water try get it room temp or as close to it as possible. if too cold the varnish will harden and try as soon as it hits the water. If too hot, varnish will become gloopy and may even sink.

-paint your nails white first.

-Using a old chapstick (faster and easier to work with) or vaseline rub it all around your finger tips, do two nails at a time if you can. Don’t get it on your nails as the varnish won’t stick to the nail.

-open all your varnishes and make sure you can get to them easily as your need to work quickly in order for the technique to work :D

-drop in nail varnish at a time. for example using three colours- one drop of blue, one of green, blue, gold, green.

-using a toothpick pull in or out the varnish to create a pattern (get creative:P )

-dip in two fingers- nail bed facing the water, straight down. using a toothpick again just swirl it around to remove the varnish on the water around your fingers. making sure the water is clear of any remaining varnish. then carefully pull out your fingers.

-with a tissue carefully wipe away the varnish on your finger. The chapstick/vaseline will have made this a hell of alot easier to remove. if any varnish remains just use a little nail varnish remover to take it off.

-neaten nail with a cotton bud if needed.

-apply topcoat

VOILA :D

21226) I have absolutely no sexual interest in anyone, not my boyfriend or anyone else, but most of the people at my college think I’m a lesbian. They think this because I stare at all the girls I go to school with. I genuinely cannot help it. I try to be as subtle as possible but if a girl goes by and she’s not bigger than me, I have to size her up, see how I compare to her, part by part. Bigger thighs, smaller calves, sharper hipbones, flabby stomach, bigger boobs? I have a whole mental checklist and I can’t stop staring until I’ve gotten through it. When I think about eating or not exercising as much, I can tell myself, “You can’t because the girl in the blue shirt had smaller thighs than you and the girl in the brown skirt had a flatter stomach than you”. I torture myself with these thoughts.
